Could you be the next governor to join the Trust?

Our Trust is delighted to welcome a new member in the Peer Support team, but we had to postpone his start date as he was busy winning medals at the 2023 Invictus Games!

The event is ideal for anyone who is thinking about starting a career within the NHS.

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust held its Annual Members Meeting on Wednesday 18 October.

Dementia is a term usually used when speaking about people who are 65 years and older, but sadly it can happen much earlier and there are people in their 30s and 40s who are currently being diagnosed with this disease.

Schools and colleges from around Hull and the East Riding brought their students along to the Great Big Health and Care Careers Fayre. 

Local schools including Beverley High School, Sirius Academy and Frederick Holmes took part in World Mental Health Day activities, creating designs inspired by what mental health means to them, how it impacts their life, self-care ideas or an expression of how they are feeling right now.   

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) is now sharing the electronic care record for emergency ambulance frontline and call centre patient encounters through the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR), providing a rich history to help inform ongoing patient care. 

Our Trust has been awarded Highly Commended in the category of Place-Based Partnership and Integrated Care for our Right Care, Right Person initiative at the prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards 2023.

Our Trust has selected TPP SystmOne as our sole Electronic Patient Record (EPR) provider following a dedicated period of procurement.

The event itself will showcase local progress of shared care record solutions.

On Thursday 14 December the Trust held its annual Christmas Carol Concert at the Lecture Theatre, Trust HQ in Willerby.

This December the Digital Team at the Trust invited colleagues to join them on a variety of digital events spanning a full week (11 – 15 December).
