Work Experience

We support young people’s careers by offering work experience, placements, and insight workshops within our Trust within corporate and clinical vocations.

The role of our team is to liaise with internal departments to find meaningful work experience opportunities for young people; we work with them to provide an efficient and robust application process. We also work with educational providers to inform students of the career pathways that we offer and how to become a part of Humber. The work experience that we offer to young people enables them to develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviours required within a specific vocation. 

All work experience opportunities are detailed below:

0-19 Team

The Hull 0-19 public health service supports children, young people and their families with parenting and healthy choices which enhance their life choices. We visit families at their home, in schools, family hubs and at other local settings. You will get the opportunity to work with Health Visitors, School Nurses, Public Health Nurses, Nursing Associates and Health and Development Practitioners.

Dates: 18-23 November 2024

Duration: 5 Days

Hours: 9am-5pm
