YOURhealth service comes together to tackle Blue Monday

Published: 01 January 0001

Our YOURhealth service is here to provide much-needed support and motivational sessions to those looking to reboot their mental wellness this new year.

Blue Monday is on Monday 17 January and is known for being the day when people feel most down during a difficult time of year. It’s the period of time in which people tend to feel low after the busy Christmas period, and with all that is going on in the world at the moment, it’s no surprise that local support services are gearing up for a busy January in 2022.

Our YOURhealth service is proud to offer free support to those in the East Riding and Hull, delivering patient centred care and help in creating an environment for individuals looking to improve their health and wellbeing.

When engaging with the service, residents can benefit from up to eight 60-minute sessions with a local Health Trainer or Wellbeing Coach. The topic of focus in these sessions will be based on the individual’s personal need, which can be any of the following emotional wellbeing needs:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Sleep Hygiene
  • Low Mood
  • Depression
  • Panic
  • Weight management
  • Stopping smoking
  • And much more…
