You are invited to Bakersville Allotment Open Day

This years Bakersville Allotment Open Day took place on Tuesday 30 July from and all were welcomed!

The Bakersville Allotment Group, which is now in its 18th year, provides a place for people who experience severe and enduring mental health conditions to take part in gardening and horticultural related activities. Gardening is used as an evidence based therapeutic activity within Occupational Therapy to help increase confidence, social interaction and improve our service users wellbeing and promote recovery.

Visitors popped along to see all of the achievements from the last year. There were refreshments, a raffle, tombola, and produce available at Newland Allotments, Tavistock Street, Hull, HU5 2LJ.
