World Breastfeeding Week 2024 – Hull and East Yorkshire Big Breastfeed
Published: 22 July 2024
World Breastfeeding Week begins on 1 August 2024, and this year, the theme is ‘Closing the Gap – Breastfeeding Support for all’.
As part of the local celebrations for this national event, our East Riding and Hull Infant Feeding Teams, including our 0-19 ISPHN service & IPHN service, are partnering with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Children’s Centres and Hull Family Hubs to host a series of events.
This programme of supportive events will highlight how breastfeeding can be the equaliser in our society and that efforts must be made to ensure everyone has access to breastfeeding support and opportunities.
On Friday 2 August, between 10am and 12pm, families are invited to join their local event, helping to promote and celebrate breastfeeding support across the area. All families are welcome and are encouraged bring along a picnic if they wish to.
See below the list of venues where events are taking place on Friday 2 August:
