We have been shortlisted for Six Categories in HSJ Patient Safety Awards

Our Trust services have been shortlisted for a total of six awards in the HSJ Patient Safety Awards 2024. The HSJ Patient Safety Awards recognise and reward the hard-working teams and individuals who are striving to deliver improved patient care.
With a total of 441 entries submitted to the awards, to have been shortlisted for six is an exceptional recognition of innovative work happening across our Trust. With one initiative which has been shortlisted for two separate award categories.
The entries which have been shortlisted and their categories are as follows:
Keyworker Service – Improving Care for Children and Young People Initiative of the Year
Right Care, Right Person – Seni Lewis Award
Emergency Department Mental Health Streaming – Urgent and Emergency Care Safety Initiative of the Year
Emergency Department Mental Health Streaming – Mental Health Safety Improvement Award
Preceptorship Programme – Patient Safety Education and Training Award
East Riding Partnership – Patient Involvement in Safety Award
Michele Moran, our Chief Executive, said “We are genuinely delighted to have been shortlisted for a total of six HSJ Patient Safety Awards. The shortlisted teams each represent services doing incredible work to enhance the service we deliver throughout the Trust and, above all, improving patient safety.”
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 16 September in Manchester where the winners will be announced.
