Trust staff recognised for Allied Health Professional and Social Care Awards event

Local organisations gathered to celebrate the amazing work and achievements of Allied Health Professionals and Social Care workers across the Hull and East Yorkshire regions today (11th March).
Hosted by Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and East Riding CCG a fantastic celebration event brought together various healthcare and other organisations where attendees were delighted to greet special guest and keynote speaker, Suzanne Rastrick, Chief Allied Health Professions Officer of NHS England.
Staff from organisations including Hull CCG, East Riding CCG, Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust, CHCP, Hull City Council, and Modality Partnership were nominated for a range of award categories.
Team members from Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust were nominated for various awards and the Trust also sponsored the Creativity and Innovation award, which was presented by our very own Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Clive Brookes.
Congratulations to Emma Gillyon, who was nominated and took home the award for the AHP Health Professions and Social Care Support Worker of the Year.
The Creativity and Innovation award saw a nomination for our Speech and Language Dysfluency Team and Lizzie Plumber was nominated for the Rising Star Award.
A huge congratulations goes out to all of the nominees and winners for being recognised for the hard work and dedication that you have to your specialist fields, keep being amazing.
