Trust hosting Annual Easter Service with children from local schools
Published: 25 March 2024
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is hosting an Easter Service on Thursday 28th March, 11am, at Hall Farm in Messingham, Scunthorpe. It will also be available on YouTube for those who wish to follow virtually.
The Trust delivers a wide range of healthcare services to local communities. These services include children’s and adult mental health, learning disabilities, forensic psychiatry, as well as GP practices and community hospitals. The Trust also hosts events as a continuation of its desire to keep and always improve its relationship with the local communities.
The annual event is hosted by the Trust’s Chaplain Eve Rose, and the Rt Hon Caroline Flint will be speaking in her role as Trust Chair. There will be readings, hymns, and reflection, sharing the themes of Easter with Trust staff and the local community.
It's a fully working farm including animals providing a true vision of Spring. As part of the event, the Trust are working with a local primary school who will be attending the event and singing. Also in attendance will be the Hull Community Knitting Group who, in a lovely gesture, have been specially knitting spring toys for the primary school children.
The Trust will be joined by team members from the Hull Integrated Care Team for Older People (HICTOP) as well as other staff to enjoy the event.
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust will be uploading the service to their YouTube channel after the service for those who cannot attend the service on the day. View the YouTube channel here or by searching @humberteachingnhs.
