Trust Announces Appointment of Two Non-Executive Directors

Our Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors (NED), for the term of 1 Sept 2024 to 31 August 2027.

Keith Nurcombe and Stephanie Poole share a wealth of experience and will bring their knowledge and expertise to the Trust’s Board.

Keith Nurcombe

Keith Nurcombe is a Non-Executive Director for Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Trust and sits on the Board of West Midlands 5G which helps businesses, public bodies and health organisations realise benefits from new technology and is part of the Combined Authority in the West Midlands.

He brings with him a thirty-year executive career working in healthcare markets in the UK, Europe and globally for the likes of GlaxoSmithKline and Telefonica.

Keith has specialised in digital delivery and transformation including rolling out Shared Care Record systems and Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programmes within the NHS. Keith has a degree in Climatology and Meteorology and when not working, enjoys spending time with the family, skiing and sailing.

Stephanie Poole

Stephanie has substantial and varied experience in senior and non-executive positions in the charity sector, social enterprise, the NHS and criminal justice system.

She began her career in a metropolitan local authority as an accountant and economic development officer before going on to lead several national and international social finance organisations, supporting social enterprises and credit unions.

Stephanie has also served in front line roles with North Yorkshire Police. This experience has given her insight into service delivery to the most vulnerable in society and a real understanding of the safeguarding and resourcing issues for people working in criminal justice and the health and social care sector.

Stephanie was previously a Non-Executive Director for NHS North Yorkshire and York where she chaired the Finance and Performance and Remuneration committees. She has a longstanding commitment and deep connections in the North Yorkshire coast area and is passionate about public service and making a difference to people’s lives.
