Outstanding murals bring our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit courtyard to life
Published: 01 January 0001
Following some brilliant work completed at our Avondale Assessment Unit, local artist, Skeg, recently completed two more outstanding murals in our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) courtyards.
Tim, Clinical Effectiveness Lead Nurse in PICU, stated the courtyard areas were a harsh and unforgiving environment before the murals were completed. As you can see from the pictures below, the area has been completely transformed, with a vast array of colours to help service users enjoy the environment and feel more at ease.
We hope that our service users really enjoy the new space, and that the view is a welcome change and brings colour into their daily routine. Taking care of our service users is our highest priority, and we are proud to continuously strive to improve all aspects of that care while they’re with us.
