We’re proud to share with you our new Trust Strategy, which was launched in October 2022. Over the five years of this strategy, we will continue to develop as a leading integrated health and care provider, delivering safe, responsive and accessible care across mental health, forensic services, community services, primary care and services for children, young people and people with learning disabilities and autism.

We will do this by striving towards our aspiration to achieve a CQC rating of outstanding, co-producing services with our staff, patients, carers and communities and delivering on our commitment to continuing to support and develop our workforce.

We can’t achieve our aims in isolation, so our strategy also emphasises the vital importance of developing partnerships and collaboration. We’re  playing a leading role in ensuring that the health and care system across Humber and North Yorkshire delivers innovative, integrated care.

Our Strategic Goals

We developed our strategy through co-production with our staff, governors, non-executive directors and our patients, families and carers. People talked passionately about working collaboratively with our partners to deliver high quality patient centred care which put our service users in control of their own recovery journey. They also told use what kind of organisation they wanted Humber to be – a place which listens to, recognises and develops our staff. We hope you will see these themes reflected in the new strategy.
