Our Trust is delighted to share that our services have been shortlisted across four Nursing Times Award categories. These awards bring together the nursing community and shine a light on the brightest talent in the profession.

With teams from our Trust’s Forensic, Adult Mental Health and Children’s divisions featuring in the shortlist it recognises the exceptional work and dedication of our services.

Adult Forensic Mental Health Single Point of Access (SPA) - Nursing in Mental Health category

Emergency Department Streaming – Patient Safety Improvement category

Breastfeeding Hull - Public Health Nursing category

Breastfeeding Hull – Children’s Services

The Nursing Times Awards has the most prestigious and rigorous judging process of any nursing awards in the profession. Each category has its own independent panel of judges, made up of leaders from the nursing and wider healthcare sector alongside a number of past award winners. The panel review entries across 25 categories to determine the shortlist and conduct live presentations, selecting winners for each category.

Michele Moran, our Trust’s Chief Executive, said, “We are thrilled that we have been shortlisted in four categories at this year’s Nursing Times Awards. These prestigious awards celebrate the very best in nursing across the NHS and being shortlisted is testament to the hard work displayed by our nursing colleagues every day across our Trust.”

The awards ceremony will take place at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London on Wednesday 23 October 2024.
