Our Trust Chief Executive Named in HSJ Top 50

We are proud to announce that Michele Moran, Chief Executive of our Trust, has been named in the Top 50 Chief Executives by the Health Service Journal (HSJ).

The HSJ’s Top 50 list recognises England’s top leaders of Trusts and is a sign of good performance in the NHS. This is the ninth year that the organisation has published such a list and includes a longlist of over 200 Trusts.

When describing the results, HSJ Chief Editor, Alastair McLellan, noted that ‘the overarching theme of HSJ’s 2023 ranking of the NHS’s leading provider Trust chief executives is one of change. Twenty-four of the names in the top 50 are new when compared to the 2022 list.’

To have made the shortlist is a great achievement and recognition of the great work being done in local Trusts across the country. This, complemented by the Trust’s latest staff survey results stating that our Trust scored are above average for staff satisfaction, and that 65.3% of our workforce would recommend the care delivered by its services, is fantastic recognition of strong leadership and governance, and our consistent good performance over the past few years.

Everyone at the Trust should take this as an opportunity to be proud of the positive impact our initiatives and look forward to continuing to work together on this journey of improvement.
