Our Trust has selected TPP SystmOne as our sole Electronic Patient Record (EPR) provider following a dedicated period of procurement.

TPP SystmOne will enable us to provide one single, optimised patient record for every person who accesses their diverse services. As a Trust, we will plan, implement, review, and roll out the change across our far-reaching geographic patch from Willerby to Whitby.

The implementation will see a shared, single instance solution for all patients and service users, which will streamline the use of systems across all services and support the care delivered at over 80 sites, to a population of more than 765,000.

Bringing together information across the SystmOne platform, as well as providing better integration through interaction with the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR), will permit further sharing of information between care providers in the region. Further to this, patient data being held in one place will ensure better use and access to vital healthcare information across different departments, meaning a smoother experience for everyone coming into care.

This transformation will also increase safety and efficiency, improving ways of working for staff as clinicians will be able to access a single source of patient information quickly and easily, saving them valuable time and resources, helping them to make well-informed decisions, and increasing administration efficiencies.

Lee Rickles, Chief Information Officer at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, said:

“Increasing efficiencies for both our patients and staff is high on our agenda, and having one single, optimised EPR will help us achieve our ambitious vision. Embracing digital transformation is central to ensuring high quality patient care and our dedication to improving the user experience, for both patients and our staff, will mean that the system will be designed around the needs of those who use it.”

Michele Moran, Chief Executive at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, said:

“Our Trust is entering a time of exciting digital transformation and we very much look forward to the ways an optimised EPR will strengthen patient and staff safety, improving the experiences of those who work with the system each and every day.”

Abigail Palin, Account Manager at TPP, said:

“We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Humber Foundation NHS Foundation Trust, who will join a growing list of providers utilising the SystmOne Mental Health product. This is a significant step forward for care across the region, allowing for interoperability across physical and mental health services whilst delivering improvements in frontline delivery for clinicians and patients alike. As SystmOne is already being extensively used across Humber and North Yorkshire ICS, it’s great news that even more services across the region will benefit from more joined up care and improved digitalisation.”
