On Thursday 25th July, our Trust will host its Summer Showcase, featuring services from across our divisions and inviting the public to learn more about their valuable work. The event will take place from 2pm to 4pm in the Lecture Theatre at Willerby Hill.
The showcase will include a variety of more than 20 stalls and exhibitions, providing attendees the chance to interact with staff from various services. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who is interested in working with our Trust or getting involved in their services. The recruitment department will be present to discuss current job openings and application processes.
In attendance there will be stalls highlighting the work of and how to get involved with our Governors, as well as a stall dedicated to the Trust Charity, Health Stars who offer varied opportunities to give back and support the work of the Trust and its staff.
Our Trust will highlight our commitment to social values by showcasing outstanding projects and teams that have supported local communities' health, wellbeing, growth, and employment. Attendees will gain insights into how Trust services are enhancing patient care through innovative approaches and supportive practices.
There are stalls which focus on the experiences of our staff, including Occupational Health and Workforce Wellbeing, but also those which deliver services to patients across the divisions. Those interested in learning more about services such as our Children’s services and virtual wards, will also find opportunity to speak with practitioners and clinical staff.
The event will also mark the conclusion of Chief Executive Michele Moran’s CEO Challenge, and where the total amount raised for the Trust Charity, Health Stars will be revealed. Michele will have completed her 13.5 mile walk between our Trust’s mental health inpatient units fundraising for the exceptional work actioned and supported by Health Stars.
