Here at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, we are currently recruiting for a number of diverse roles. In this article you can find specific roles relating to our Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). 

Current CAMHS Vacancies

Our CAMHS team consists of over 30 Clinical Psychologists & Assistant Psychologists working across core CAMHS, Neurodevelopmental Pathways (Autism, ADHD, LD & Paediatrics), Eating Disorders, Forensic CAMHS, Inpatient Unit and LAC CAMHS in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who would be interested in the following posts:

1. Full time Band 7 Clinical Psychologist for Humber CAMHS Eating Disorders Service, covering Hull & East Riding.

This post would be of interest to those who are curious about the following areas:

2. Full time Band 7 Clinical Psychologist for Humber CAMHS Inspire Inpatient unit.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established team delivering a trauma informed approach by the ARC framework. You would work on the 9 bedded General Adolescent Unit and on the 4 bedded Psychiatric Intensive care unit (PICU), offering psychological input to young people with complex mental health difficulties aged 13 – 18 years.

There would also be opportunities to get involved in delivering therapeutic interventions both individually and group psychological assessment, facilitating reflective practice groups and systemic family work.

You would be part of a supportive MDT alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and an Assistant psychologist and we provide placements to doctoral trainees. The service takes a whole systems approach with the focus being on the desire to build upon individual and community strengths wherever possible and ensure that young people and their families are active decision makers in their care.

3. Full time Band 7 Clinical psychologist for East Riding Community Core CAMHS

The core team covers anxiety, low mood, self-harm and trauma referrals and is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Creative Therapist, Family Therapists, CBT Therapists, Specialist Nurses, Consultant Child Psychiatrist, Administrators and Support workers.

The post holder will be expected to work both autonomously and as part of a team to provide assessments, formulations, treatment plans and interventions to children, young people and families presenting with a range of complex and severe mental health difficulties. Successful applicants will have access to regular supervision and support from experienced Clinical Psychologists working within the service.
