Bedigital Week Intro

This week our Digital Team is inviting colleagues from across our patch to join them for a variety of digital events and celebrations.

BeDigital Week aims to raise awareness of the digital and innovative workstreams happening across the Trust and gives the team the opportunity to re-introduce themselves to colleagues in other areas, who they may not have the chance to speak to very often.

The week-long agenda, running 9 – 13 December, focuses on one of our five divisions each day, and the work they’re currently doing with their BeDigital colleagues to contribute to the NHS goal of moving from analogue to digital.

Today, Monday, our Community and Primary Care division will showcase their virtual wards project, as well as the optimisation of their electronic patient record. They also promote the use of emerging technologies such as voice recognition in saving staff time and increasing efficiencies.

On Tuesday, our Forensics division is partnering with our Trust charity, Health Stars, to run a ‘come and give it a go’ event at our Trust HQ for staff to try digital cardio walls which help people in our mental health units stay active.

On Wednesday, our Adult and Older People’s Mental Health division is looking ahead to upcoming digital transformation within the department, as well as showcasing the extended NHS 111 service for mental health.

On Thursday, our Children’s and Learning Disabilities division will talk about the launch of their new website, CONNECT, developed and designed especially for children’s services in the local area. They will also be promoting some podcasts developed in collaboration with local young people, within our Youth Recovery College.

And finally, Friday looks to our Corporate division to learn more about the innovative work in Shared Care Records, with our Interweave team holding a session for staff to learn more about the benefits of using cross-organisational data when caring for people in our communities.

We are looking forward to this jam-packed week, shining a light on all of the fantastic work happening across our organisation, and we look forward to seeing our colleagues there. To follow along, join us on our social media channels below.
