Important information for our service users: COVID-19
Published: 25 March 2020
Due to the rising concern over COVID-19, the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has made the decision to change some of our service arrangements. This includes both operational changes to continued services and also the cancellation or postponing of some selected services until further notice.
The NHS in Hull and the East Riding, and Public Health England (PHE) are well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS is continuously reviewing Government and World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines and putting the appropriate measures in place, so we can ensure the safety of all of our staff and service users, whilst also minimising the risk of spreading the virus.
Any existing users of these selected services will be contacted as soon as possible when any changes are made. If you feel unsure or have questions, please discuss this with the team who are involved with you.
Wherever possible, we have switched appointments to phone calls/virtual contact rather than face-to-face sessions. We expect this to help in continuing to provide support to those who need it. However, if you are experiencing feelings of distress and require further support, please contact the team you usually have contact with, during office hours. Alternatively, you can find our emergency contact details here.
