Important information for patients

The building works at your surgery will introduce a few changes and things may seem slightly different the next time you visit us. To make sure you are kept up to date, we have put together a brief timeline o expected changes below.

 

16 November, 2020

Building works at ground level

Patients may begin to see changes to the environment at ground level from mid-November onwards. Internal works at the rear of the building will start to convert some storage areas to temporary office facilities.

 

30 November, 2020

Work on a temporary waiting area will begin

In preparation for the next stages of the build at King Street, offices within the practice will have work undertaken to prepare them as temporary waiting area facilities when the large piece of work on the main reception, waiting area and administrative office start

 

07 December 2020

Works on main reception and administrative office will start and temporary waiting area will be opening

The reception desk and administrative office as we know it at present will close and the temporary waiting area will open in the converted office space.

 

January 14 PM – 19, 2021

The surgery car parking at King Street will be closed due to renovation at the site. The surgery will be open as normal.

It is possible that any of these dates above may change slightly due to the implications of COVID-19 and any changes in national guidance.

We do not expect any of the above plans to impact the way our services are delivered, but if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email hallgate.hallgate@nhs.net where possible to avoid creating queues on the telephone lines at this busy time.
