Help us help you be prepared for the August bank holiday

Hull and East Riding residents are encouraged to ensure they are prepared for the upcoming bank holiday weekend and reminded which NHS services will be available.
Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) and out of hours GP services across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire will remain open. However, GP practices and most pharmacies will be closed on Monday 29 August.
Make sure you are prepared for the weekend, check your medicine supply and order any required repeat prescriptions in good time.
Some pharmacies will be open over the holiday, to ensure you can access services if necessary. You can find out which pharmacies are open in Hull this bank holiday weekend here and for East Riding of Yorkshire here.
If you need to access GP services during the holiday, appointments are available through Extended Access services in Hull and the GP out of hours service which can be contacted by ringing your GP practice or NHS 111. In the East Riding GP appointments are also available through the Improving Access Service, open over the bank holiday. Ring 01482 458262 to contact the service.
For urgent medical advice, please use the NHS 111 online service (http://111.nhs.uk). If you cannot get online, call 111 If you are in a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 999.

The Mental Health Advice and Support Line for Hull and the East Riding will remain operational over the holiday weekend. Individuals over the age of 18, who require mental health support, can access the service by calling 0800 138 0990.
