Have A Good Laugh For A Good Cause This November

Together with Hull Truck, we are inviting you to join us for an evening of fun, laughter and entertainment, with our Stand Up for Health Stars comedy event that raises money for our local NHS services.

A portion of all ticket sales will go directly to our Trust charity, Health Stars, which promotes the development of exceptional health and social care services in Hull and beyond. Through their investment in environments, resources, training, and research, they can add that 'extra sparkle’ to local services and help create meaningful experiences for NHS staff, patients and their loved ones.

Health Stars invest tens of thousands of pounds into our services every year, and these are services which are provided to over 800,000 people living within our geographical patch.

The event will take place at Hull Truck on Ferensway, on Friday 4 November at 8pm.

Stand Up for Health Stars comes as part of Yorkshire’s biggest comedy festival, with thousands of people attending events across the region, and will host an incredible line-up of local and regional comedy talent – with a sprinkle of some award-winning acts from the UK comedy festival scene!

The aim of the evening is to have a good laugh for a good cause, raising money in a way that directly impacts and serves our local communities.

Gary Jennison, Health and Wellbeing Specialist at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, said:

“We think it’s important to provide people a space to come down and have a good time, all in the name of a good cause. The money raised for Health Stars will directly impact our staff and patients as it will go towards our health and wellbeing agenda, which means the money could be spent on anything from new equipment to wellbeing areas in our staff rooms, where people can take a moment to breathe. A small donation really does go a long way, so do join us and let’s have some fun!”
