Good News: December 2024
It is my pleasure to introduce the first edition of our Good News newsletter.
In the busy and often challenging world of healthcare, it is more important than ever to take a moment to celebrate our achievements and share the positive stories that uplift and inspire us all.
"Good News" is dedicated to showcasing the many wonderful successes and heart-warming moments from across our NHS community. Each quarter, we will bring you a collection of stories that highlight the dedication, compassion, and resilience of our staff, as well as the remarkable recoveries and achievements of our patients.
Our values of caring, learning and growing, are at the heart of our mission and shape everything we do. We are sharing these stories in line with our values to demonstrate how we bring them to life everyday, as well as sharing our national and local recognition.
In this inaugural edition, you will read about life changing research, heartening tales of outstanding patient care, innovative projects spearheaded by our teams, and the incredible acts of kindness and support that happen every day within our NHS family. These stories are a testament to the unwavering commitment and spirit of our staff and the profound impact of their work on the lives of those we serve.
As we navigate the complexities of healthcare, it is essential to remember and celebrate the good moments. "Good News" is our way of shining a light on these moments, and sharing our pride and joy in our collective accomplishments.
I hope you find "Good News" as uplifting and inspiring as I do.
Warmest regards,
Michele Moran
