Comms Team are shortlisted for two NHS Communicate Awards 2024

The Trust’s Communications team have been shortlisted for two NHS Communicate Awards 2024.

The NHS Communicate Awards celebrate excellence in NHS Communications, highlighting the contribution that communications make to the successful implementation and delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives and programmes for staff in their organisations. A virtual ceremony hosted by comedian Jo Caufield will announce the winners on Thursday 7^th March.

The team has been shortlisted in the Communications Team Health and Wellbeing category for our programme of staff health and wellbeing events and Loren Hakeney, Marketing Project Manager has been shortlisted for Great Young Communicator.

In the Health and Wellbeing category the shortlisting acknowledged the teams work to support the Trust’s long-term focus on staff physical and mental health.

Events include 28 Days of Wellbeing, run each year in January to enable and encourage staff to focus of one daily activity, to enhance their physical or mental health and 100K Your Way, a virtual walking challenge.

Loren Hakeney, Marketing Project Manager was shortlisted for Great Young Communicator. This award celebrates outstanding performance within the organisation and celebrates individuals aged 30 and below with growing talent and potential in NHS communications and engagement.
