CAMHS Build funders visit new site
Published: 05 August 2019
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust's local Chairty, Health Stars guided a group of funders around the site of the new Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service's (CAMHS) Inpatient Unit that is currently being built on Walker Street. The purpose of the visit last week was for the funders to see the progress of the build and to provide them with more context around how their very kind donations will be used to enhance the new unit. Last week’s visitors included trustees from Help for Health and corporate supporters 360 Accountants.
The Health Stars Impact Appeal also received a cheque from the team at Avenues Open Gardens who have kindly donated money towards the therapy garden that will be located on site.
Another visit took place on Wednesday 7 August where the wonderful appeal supporters, ResQ, viewed the progress of the CAMHS build project.
If you’d like to help Health Stars to bring the very best of features and additions to the new CAMHS building, you can vote for them to win £100,000 that will go towards the new development for the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service. You can vote for Health Stars by clicking here and selecting Health Stars to vote. You can vote once per day.
We’d like to take this opportunity to give a huge thank you to all of those who have voted for Health Stars already and we look forward to keeping you updated on the progress of the new CAMHS Unit. Watch this space.
