Annual Members Meeting Open to Public: Tickets Available with Special Celebrity Guest Appearance
Published: 19 September 2024
Our Trust are inviting members of the public to attend their Annual Members Meeting (AMM) to learn more about their services, recent achievements and future strategies. We have also announced the name of the special celebrity guest who will be speaking at the event.
Representatives from our Trust and services will be joined by Lucy Beaumont on Thursday 26 September 2024 at The Lecture Theatre at Trust Headquarters, Willerby Hill.
Lucy Beaumont, who is well known for her work in television including ‘Meet the Richardsons’ and ‘Hullraisers’, will be attending the event to answer a range of insightful questions submitted by staff and members. With her unmistakeable style of comedy and local knowledge, she brings with her a unique perspective on the services and initiatives we deliver.
Opening at 12pm until 2pm, there will be a marketplace showcasing the very best of Trust services. This exhibition provides an opportunity for attendees to speak with Trust staff and learn more about the exceptional work taking places across a variety of services.
The second part of the event will include presentations from key members of our Board. Between 2pm and 4pm the presentation element of the AMM will take place. The Annual Member’s Meeting is the Trust’s opportunity to present their finances from the past year, as well as to share news, updates and projections for the next 12 months. It will also include a very special Q & A session with our Chair, Rt Hon Caroline Flint and special guest Lucy Beaumont.
Michele Moran, Chief Executive, said, "The AMM presents a fantastic opportunity, not only to learn about our performance and goals, but also to engage with us as a Trust. We're committed to transparency, openly sharing our work and progress, and we welcome anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how we operate and prioritise providing the highest standards of care. This year, we're thrilled to have Lucy Beaumont join us, and I’m personally looking forward to meeting her and hearing her valuable insights."
Anyone is welcome to attend the event, but all attendees must secure their tickets using the booking link as places are limited and the event is expected to be extremely popular. Tickets can be obtained via the link - https://www.trybooking.com/uk/DUHV
For anyone unable to attend the event in person, the AMM will be live-streamed and available to view online on the Trust’s YouTube channel here.
