Volunteering
Welcome to the Voluntary Services page for Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.
We are very lucky to have a fantastic team of volunteers at Humber. Our volunteers work hard to improve the services we offer and enrich the lives of Humber patients and service users. We encourage people to join us from all groups and communities. If you are interested in volunteering and are contacting us for the first time, we will be on hand if you have any questions. We can discuss any concerns which might make it difficult for you to volunteer. If you decide you would like to get involved we will lead you through the application process to become a Humber volunteer.
We ask all potential volunteers to complete a DBS check and Occupational Health assessment. For these processes ID documents and personal information will need to be disclosed. We also ask volunteers to complete NHS online volunteer training. For more information on the checks, training and FAQ’s please see the attachment below.
